When you want to be wanted, when you want to be loved and your expectations are not met, this hurts you the most. You feel like rejected, abandoned, and having been left. This type of thinking or personality is the result of childhood neglect, especially from parents. Children who do not get much attention from parents, when grown up, would always seek the attention of others, and if they don’t get it, they feel abandoned.
Feelings of being rejected are very painful!
